Some users may start out requiring only the capabilities of the Macintosh Display Card 4•8.  As their needs increase, the Macintosh Display Card 4•8 can be easily upgraded to the full power of the display card 8•24.    The addition of an extra bank of VRAM* is all that is necessary.

The upgrade kit is available through Apple authorized dealers, and should be installed by either an authorized dealer or an Apple service center.
